Hi, I’m Maria

I was born in a house where art was part of my family’s life. Music by piano, guitar, voices, sculptures, clay, wood, metals, tools, hammers, paintings, etchings, drawings, books, handicraft, needles and threads, scissors, notebooks, pencils, ink, brushes, cutters and cartoons were my toys at home.

Education also was the axis in my childhood because both my parents were teachers. That was a privilege to me because my role models were artists and educators.

I can see art everywhere and anywhere, I understand that everybody has artistic talent. Those talents can be in sports, in medicine, in communication, in listening, in dance, etc. I can see all those expressions as art because people are passionate about their natural talents, and they can freely express themselves, with passion and love.
